Brady-Manning: What we'll miss about their classic matchup

Tom Brady and Peyton Manning have played 16 times since 2001. But as Geoffrey Chaucer penned, 'All good things must come to an end.' With Manning out Sunday and his career in doubt because of injuries, here are a few things we'll miss about their matchup.

Jets CB Darrelle Revis (concussion) wasn't spotted at practice today, making it highly unlikely he will play Sunday against the Dolphins. C Nick Mangold (right hand) participated in positional drills and did shotgun snaps to Ryan Fitzpatrick -- a positive sign. TE Kellen Davis was back at practice after missing yesterday due to a personal reason.

"After extensive conversations with our head coach, staff, and administrators who were on the floor for the post game handshakes, I am 100% confident that neither Dan Hurley, nor any member of our coaching staff made any derogatory expletive remarks or offensive statements toward the Maryland student-athletes. Any report, rumor, allegation to the contrary is false." -- Thorr Bjorn - Rhode Island Director of Athletics

Turgeon, Hurley get into postgame spat

Maryland coach Mark Turgeon and Rhode Island coach Dan Hurley exchanged words late in the Terps' win over the Rams at the Cancun Challenge. A tournament official then said Hurley directed an expletive at Maryland's players in the postgame handshake line. The teams also had to be separated before the awards ceremony. Hurley said of the incident: "Heat of the moment, championship game, stuff happens."

So is the Davis Cup final Belgium vs. Andy Murray? The world No.2 doesn't think so: "If they look at it that way, they're actually putting a lot of pressure on their own players in the other matches. I'm happy to take as much pressure on my shoulders as needed. I've been in that position a lot of times in my career. I will be able to deal with it okay. But I also believe in all of the players in our team."

Tom Izzo not focused on 500th win

The Michigan State coach can reach the milestone tonight when his No. 3 Spartans play Boston College (6:30 p.m. ET on ESPN2), but that's not what's on Izzo's mind: "I'm still more worried about banners than about wins. Right now, I'm more worried about trying to go out and win a tournament."
