Sweeney expects heads to roll in Kansas City

The Royals' clubhouse is abuzz with trade talk and The Kansas City Star has quoted first baseman Mike Sweeney as saying, "The reality of it is that we are playing bad baseball. When that happens, changes need to be made. There's probably a strong likelihood that some heads are going to roll."

Those heads most likely sit on the shoulders of closer Roberto Hernandez and right fielder Jermaine Dye. Third baseman Joe Randa is another who could be on the move, according to the Star. The Royals feel both players could garner healthy returns on the trade market, and KC brass is more and more resigned to the belief that a roster shakeup is needed.
