Here are a few things to keep in mind as North Carolina and Kentucky go head-to-head this weekend:

North Carolina Tar Heels

Freshman to watch
The freshman North Carolina will miss the most against Kentucky is sharpshooter P.J. Hairston. While tests revealed he didn't break his wrist against Wisconsin, UNC's top 3-point threat will miss the game. Enter James Michael McAdoo. ESPNU's No. 6 incoming recruit would be a household name by now if he weren't anchored behind one of the deepest frontcourts in America. The reason to watch for him on Saturday is because McAdoo has a reputation for rising to the occasion. A gold-medal winner with USA Basketball, his patience, feel for the moment and familiarity with UK's personnel should allow him to be ready to spring into action. Unlike their Wildcats counterparts, UNC's freshmen are unlikely to play anything but supporting roles in this game.
