Shantz not in Kansas anymore

QB travels to South Florida for ESS combine, will visit several Florida schools

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. -- Quarterback Chandler Shantz came a long way from Derby, Kan., to compete in the South Florida Elite Scouting Services combine, but it was all part of a plan.

The 6-foot-3, 200-pound junior accounted for nearly 2,000 yards and 23 touchdowns last season at Buhler (Kan.) High School and ventured to Florida for the competition and quite possibly a new home.
