After a fumble recovery, Jake Browning threw a lateral to Marvin Hall on a bubble screen, who instead tossed it downfield to Joshua Perkins for a 27-yard TD that put Washington up 10-6 over USC on ESPN.

Rough first quarter for USC QB Cody Kessler vs. Washington. He finished just 4-of-9 for 39 yards and threw a pair of interceptions after throwing just one pick in the previous four games. USC still managed to take a 3-0 lead into the second quarter.
