USC junior linebacker Lamar Dawson suffered a knee injury in practice Tuesday and will miss the remainder of the season, according to Trojans coach Ed Orgeron.

Dawson had started all seven games for the Trojans this season at inside linebacker and was fourth on the team in tackles with 35.

Orgeron also confirmed that freshman tailback Justin Davis (ankle) and redshirt freshman offensive lineman Jordan Simmons (knee) will miss the remainder of the season after suffering injuries earlier this week.

Davis had been a major part of the USC tailback rotation with 53 carries for 361 yards and six touchdowns.
