If Jerry West hadn't been such a good general manager, Jones might have been much higher on this list. West used the No. 10 pick in 1994 to nab Jones, who quickly developed into an All-Star. Too bad for Jones that West found an even bigger steal in 1996, taking Kobe Bryant at No. 13. As Bryant started to flourish at the same position, Jones was traded for Glen Rice. (Elsa/Getty Images)
