Juan Uribe reinjures hamstring

NEW YORK -- Los Angeles Dodgers third baseman Juan Uribe could be headed to the disabled list after reinjuring the right hamstring that kept him out five games earlier this month.

Uribe came out of Tuesday's 9-4 win over the New York Mets in the ninth inning after feeling the hamstring while running out a double.

"Right now, I don't feel good," Uribe said later.

Asked whether the hamstring felt worse than the last time, Uribe answered quickly: "Oh, yeah."

Uribe said he still hopes to avoid the DL, and manager Don Mattingly said the Dodgers would make no decision on Uribe's status until they see how he is Wednesday.

Uribe suffered the original injury in a May 8 game against the San Francisco Giants. He didn't return to the lineup until this past Friday in Arizona.
