LOS ANGELES -- Vin Scully, the Los Angeles Dodgers Hall of Fame broadcaster, missed calling a game for the second day in a row on Wednesday night, when the team hosted the Pittsburgh Pirates, because of a cold. He will also miss Thursday night's series finale with the Pirates.

Scully's condition, according to multiple sources, hasn't changed since Tuesday, when he missed calling the team's home opener for the first time in 35 years and just the second time in his 63 years in the Dodgers broadcast booth.

Scully, 84, is resting at home under doctor's orders.
