Buster Posey's jersey top seller
Major League Baseball released its list of the best-selling jerseys for this season Thursday and, not surprisingly, youth dominates.
San Francisco Giants star catcher Buster Posey's jersey was the top seller. Of the top 20 best-selling jerseys on MLB.com, only two belong to players -- Derek Jeter and Mariano Rivera -- who are older than 30.
Buster Posey's jersey is the best-selling jersey this season, based on sales on MLB.com. Posey is one of two catchers, along with Yadier Molina, in the top three of overall sales to date this season. Mariano Rivera and Derek Jeter are the only players in the top 20 who are over the age of 30.

The list is led by Posey, followed by Rivera and St. Louis Cardinals catcher Yadier Molina. Despite a lackluster season for the Mets, two of the team's players -- David Wright and rookie sensation Matt Harvey -- round out the top five.
The Los Angeles Dodgers have the most player jerseys in the top 20 at the All-Star break, led by rookie outfielder Yasiel Puig, who falls at No. 10 on the list despite not making his debut until June 3. Other Dodgers who made the list include Hyun-Jin Ryu (No. 11), Matt Kemp (No. 14) and Clayton Kershaw (No. 15). The Giants have three players on the list, including Posey, Sergio Romo (No. 16) and Pablo Sandoval (No. 19).
Missing from this list is the jersey of Detroit Tigers pitcher Max Scherzer, who has started the season 13-0, and Baltimore Orioles first baseman Chris Davis, who has 33 home runs and 85 RBIs. Both have teammates who made the list in Detroit's Justin Verlander (No. 20) and Baltimore's Manny Machado (No. 8).
Despite having the best record in the American League, only one player from the Boston Red Sox, Dustin Pedroia (No. 13), made the list. The Cardinals, who have the best record in the National League, also have only one representative on the best-selling jersey list in Molina.
Although Rivera declared it would be his final season, fans haven't stopped purchasing jerseys of the Yankees' closer. Despite his retirement, Chipper Jones was the eighth best-selling jersey in the second half of last season, and Baltimore Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis finished third in NFL jersey sales this season despite indications he would retire.
Some players who were on the best-selling jersey list in the second half of last season didn't even make it into Thursday's top 20, including Josh Hamilton, who was No. 2, Ichiro Suzuki, who was No. 3, and Robinson Cano, who was No. 10 and will be a free agent after this season.
