Los Angeles Clippers guard Chris Paul sat out Tuesday's 108-79 loss to the Utah Jazz and is listed as questionable for the team's next game Wednesday against the Dallas Mavericks.

An MRI on Paul's strained left hamstring on Sunday came back negative, according to the team.

Los Angeles Clippers coach Vinny Del Negro said Paul is feeling better but he wanted to be smart about the injury and wouldn't rush his superstar point guard back.

It is the second straight game Paul has missed due to the injury which he suffered in the fourth quarter of the Clippers' 102-94 win over the Los Angeles Lakers on Saturday night.

Clippers guard Mo Williams also missed his third straight game Tuesday with an injured right foot. Williams, who got in some shots before Tuesday's game, is listed as questionable for the Clippers' next game. Clippers guard Eric Bledsoe, who has been recovering from offseason surgery on his right knee, is still 2-3 weeks from returning to the lineup, and Clippers forward Brian Cook was inactive for his second straight game with an ankle injury.

Del Negro said Paul won't play until he shows in workouts he is ready. Del Negro believes Williams might be back as soon as Wednesday against Dallas or Friday against Minnesota.

Meanwhile, Utah was without backup forward Derrick Favors (sprained left ankle) and swingman Josh Howard (strained left quad).

The Clippers have now lost 16 straight visits to Salt Lake City, last winning in 2003.
