LOS ANGELES -- Free-agent center Ryan Hollins agreed to a one-year deal with the Los Angeles Clippers on Thursday, according to his agent Todd Ramasar.

Hollins, who averaged 3.4 points and 2.1 rebounds in 13.4 minutes last season, is expected to sign a one-year contract for the veteran's minimum.

The 27-year-old Hollins returns to Los Angeles after playing at UCLA and spending last season with the Cleveland Cavaliers and Boston Celtics.

Hollins, a seven-foot center drafted by Charlotte in 2006, will back up starting center DeAndre Jordan and will be a part of a revamped Clippers bench that includes Lamar Odom, Jamal Crawford and Grant Hill.
