It's the second straight game and fifth overall that Paul has missed this season with the injury. Before missing Tuesday's game against Oklahoma City, Paul started two straight versus Washington and Golden State. But he missed the three games before that.
"There's no timetable," Clippers coach Vinny Del Negro told the team's official website regarding Paul's return. "He's pretty much just getting therapy and resting."
Clippers guard Eric Bledsoe, who started Thursday, has started four games in place of Paul, with the team going 3-1. Bledsoe started in place of Paul when the Clippers went 3-0 on their last road trip and won their games by an average of 14.6 points.
Del Negro had some good news about the possible return of Chauncey Billups, who has been out with peroneal tendinitis in his left foot and has played only three games this season. Billups played 3-on-3 on Thursday and could be nearing a return to the lineup.
"Chauncey went up and down today with some contact," Del Negro said. "So that was good to see."
