Steve Blake set to return Tuesday

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. -- Los Angeles Lakers guard Steve Blake went through a full practice with the team Monday and will return to the lineup Tuesday when the Lakers play the New Orleans Hornets.

Blake has missed the past 37 games with a lower abdominal strain. He last played for the Lakers on Nov. 11.

"We'll see how the game goes and obviously he'll get limited minutes and then start working his way back in," Lakers coach Mike D'Antoni said. "I've always tried to get him the last 10 years so I'm looking forward to seeing what he can add."

Blake, who was averaging 5.1 points and 3.4 assists per game before his injury, said he is still not 100 percent but feels ready to return to the court and help the team. The Lakers (19-25) have won their past two games.

"I'm ready to go," Blake said. "Everybody has some issues right now, but you deal with it and I can play with it. It's no problem."
