Terrelle Pryor has most likely taken his last snap with the Oakland Raiders.

Raiders general manager Reggie McKenzie told reporters at the NFL owners meetings in Orlando, Fla., that Pryor likely will be released or traded soon.

McKenzie said Pryor, who recently rehired Drew Rosenhaus as his agent, wants to be a starting quarterback. Pryor told Rosenhaus that he wants to be released or traded, according to McKenzie.

"He hasn't talked to me about it," McKenzie said Monday, according to the Bay Area News Group. "I'll visit with him and we'll talk to him and we'll move on from there."

Fox Sports reported later Monday that Pryor wants to be traded.

Pryor, who became a huge fan favorite, has never really been a favorite of the Raiders' new regime. Raiders coach Dennis Allen said after last season that undrafted rookie Matt McGloin, who replaced Pryor as the starter, had basically earned a spot on the team going forward. Allen afforded Pryor no such public evaluation.

The Raiders acquired two-time Pro Bowl quarterback Matt Schaub in a trade Friday with the Houston Texans, making it even more apparent that Pryor likely no longer has a role in Oakland.

Pryor started nine games last season -- the first eight and the season finale. He rushed for 576 yards, a franchise record for a quarterback, and scored on a 93-yard touchdown run, an NFL record for a quarterback. But he had a Total QBR of just 30.5.
