The Anaheim Ducks acquired restricted free agent Andrew Cogliano from the Edmonton Oilers for a 2013 second-round draft pick, the teams announced Tuesday.
The 24-year-old forward had 11 goals and 35 points in 82 games this past season in Edmonton. He has not missed an NHL game since his season debut in 2007-08.
Cogliano has a salary arbitration hearing set for July 21, according to the Ducks.
In 328 games with the Oilers, he has 57 goals and 146 points. He
also led Edmonton with a career-high 461 faceoff wins.
The pick acquired for Cogliano gives Edmonton eight selections
in the 2013 draft.
