NEW YORK -- The family of former Los Angeles Kings scout Mark Bavis settled their wrongful death lawsuit stemming from the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. It was the last such suit to be resolved.

Attorney Donald Migliori said Monday the family decided to settle after making public as much information as they could about what they viewed as security lapses on Sept. 11, 2001, at Boston's Logan Airport.

Bavis was aboard United Airlines Flight 175 when it took off from the airport and was crashed by hijackers into the World Trade Center's south tower.

Bavis was a West Newton, Mass., scout for the Kings hockey team.

The law was filed by his mother, Mary Bavis. The settlement terms were not disclosed.

A lawyer for the airline and a security company could not be immediately reached Monday for comment.

Information from The Associated Press was used in this report.
