The Anaheim Ducks announced Monday that they have signed two-time Swedish Elite League goaltender of the year Viktor Fasth to a one-year contract.
Fasth's deal is worth $1 million, a source told ESPN.com's Pierre LeBrun.
The 6-foot, 192-pound Fasth was named the league's goalie of the year the past two seasons, becoming the first to do so since Henrik Lundqvist of the New York Rangers did it with Vastra Frolunda.
Fasth, 29, posted five shutouts with a 2.12 GAA and .931 save percentage in 46 games with AIK Stockholm last season.
