Will Jared Goff start in Week 1?

The No. 1 overall pick is more talented than Case Keenum, but he's far from a lock to win the job by opening day. As John Clayton points out, Jeff Fisher has a history of patience with young QBs. QB battles

Rams need Quinn back at his best

Dan Graziano ESPN Staff Writer

The NFLPA was upset last year when the Rams faced no discipline after QB Case Keenum was allowed to play despite apparent concussion symptoms. It speaks well of both sides that the league and the union jointly announced new protocol that establishes fines and potential loss of draft picks for teams that fail to follow the game-day concussion protocol.

Kevin Seifert NFL Nation

NFL/NFLPA agreement to enforce concussion protocol with fines and possible loss of draft picks is an appropriate response to the 2015 incident involving Rams QB Case Keenum, who was left in a game despite a hit that left him staggering. Mistakes happen, but protocol must be followed.
