2016 Los Angeles Rams draft picks: Analysis for every selection

LOS ANGELES -- Nick Wagoner breaks down the 2016 Los Angeles Rams draft class.Round 1, Pick No. 1: Jared Goff, QB, California | HighlightsMy take: When the Rams made the deal with the Tennessee Titans to move up for either Goff or North Dakota State's Carson Wentz, it was one I wouldn't have made but understood.

I'm not sure if Austin Rivers can see much out of his left eye but he's back on the floor.

Case for hacking DeAndre Jordan with Clippers injuries: him coming out is a huge win. Case against: this Clippers offense isn't real potent.

It was fun for the Dodgers while it lasted. When San Diego scored a run in the fourth inning Friday, it ended a 32-inning scoreless streak against L.A., dating back to last season. It was tied for the Dodgers' sixth longest scoreless inning streak, by innings, against one team in club history.

No surprise, the Los Angeles Rams didn't move back into day 2 after trading away their second and third round picks to move up for QB Jared Goff at No. 1 overall. The Rams will get to pick again Saturday when they have two fourth-round choices and two sixth-round selections. Receiver, tight end and safety are among the positions the Rams will be looking for.

Clippers 24, Blazers 24 at the end of the 1st quarter. Not bad considering Doc Rivers might have to play point guard for the Clippers.

Austin Rivers received stitches on two different cuts above and below the left eye and is probable to return.

The Blazers' offensive rebounding is causing problems for this small Clippers frontcourt without Blake Griffin. They've got seven offensive boards and six second-chance points in the first 9:09.
