Dodgers concerns on top of the 4-3 loss at St. Louis in 16 innings last night: Closer Kenley Jansen now has five blown saves (2 in last 3 outings); the offense had just 1 hit over the final 7 innings; starter Bud Norris had to absorb 1.1 IP, taking the loss; failure to move within 3 games of NL West-leading Giants.

McCullers owns Trout for a night

Lance McCullers racked up 10 strikeouts over eight innings on Friday, three of which came via Mike Trout swinging. The only other pitchers to strike out Trout swinging at least three times in a single game are Tommy Milone (Sept. 2013), Jon Lester (Aug. 2014), and Chris Archer (June 2015), the Elias Sports Bureau notes.
