No surgery needed for Chris Paul

LOS ANGELES -- Clippers point guard Chris Paul will be out up to six weeks after being diagnosed with a separated right shoulder, the team announced Sunday.

No surgery will be required for Paul, who underwent an MRI exam Sunday and was reevaluated by team doctors.

Paul suffered the injury in the third quarter of the Clippers' win over the Dallas Mavericks on Friday when he crashed to the floor after being fouled by Dallas guard Monta Ellis.
