Coroner looks at Jon Walters' death

SANTA ANA, Calif. -- The Orange County Coroner's Office is investigating the death of a Southern California freshman water polo player who helped the Trojans win the NCAA title last month.

Nineteen-year-old Jon Walters died of a heart attack at a hospital Wednesday, his father, Bill, told the Orange County Register.

Bill Walters said his son had been fighting pneumonia and kidney failure after falling into a coma Jan. 1.
