Sheldon Souray out for season

Veteran defenseman Sheldon Souray of the Anaheim Ducks will miss the remainder of the season after undergoing successful surgery on his wrist Friday.

Souray, 37, has not played a game this season as he tried to come back from the wrist injury that he suffered last summer. Dr. Steve Shin of the Kerlan-Jobe Clinic did a procedure to relieve arthritic symptoms related to his ligament tear.
