Marian Gaborik re-signs with Kings

LOS ANGELES -- Left wing Marian Gaborik signed a seven-year deal Wednesday to stay with the Los Angeles Kings. The deal carries an average annual value of $4.875 million, a source told ESPN.com's Pierre LeBrun.

According to a source, Gaborik is set to make $6.075 million each season through 2016-17, after which his salary decreases each season before bottoming out at $3.075 million for 2020-21 -- the final season of the deal.
