Touted WR Kyle Prater likely to redshirt

LOS ANGELES -- Southern California receiver Kyle Prater is likely to redshirt this season after injuries slowed his progress during camp.

Coach Lane Kiffin announced the probability Monday after practice, saying he had spoken with Prater's parents about the 14th-ranked Trojans' plans for the touted freshman.
