Kings' Drew Doughty out week

Los Angeles Kings defenseman Drew Doughty, who suffered an undisclosed upper-body injury Wednesday night during a 4-3 victory against the visiting Carolina Hurricanes, will be out "at least a week," according to Kings general manager Dean Lombardi.

Lombardi would not be specific about the type of injury.

Doughty, a finalist for the Norris Trophy last season, was hit in the neutral zone by Carolina's Erik Cole. Kings coach Terry Murray said the contact occurred well after Doughty ...
