Ted Lilly to miss spring start with flu

GLENDALE, Ariz. -- Los Angeles Dodgers left-hander Ted Lilly won't make what would have been his first Cactus League start on Wednesday against the Kansas City Royals because of flu-like symptoms.

He will be replaced by non-roster right-hander Tim Redding, who already was on the list of scheduled pitchers for the game and now will draw the start.
