Derek Fisher plays 500th straight game

LOS ANGELES -- Los Angeles Lakers guard Derek Fisher played in his 500th consecutive game Saturday against the Denver Nuggets and came up clutch in an unconventional way in the Lakers' 92-89 win.

With less than three minutes remaining and the Lakers trailing by two, Fisher had the ball dumped off to him at the end of the shot clock and was forced to launch a long 3-pointer from the left wing.
