Lakers' Steve Blake day to day

The Los Angeles Lakers announced Thursday that veteran point guard Steve Blake has suffered a costochondral fracture, which is a fracture of the cartilage connecting the rib to the sternum. He is considered day to day, and will be re-evaluated later this week.

Blake originally suffered the injury Tuesday night in the Lakers' victory over the Phoenix Suns, then aggravated it the following night in the third quarter against the Jazz in Utah. He left the game and did not return.
