Dewayne Dedmon tears MCL

LOS ANGELES -- USC forward Dewayne Dedmon tore the medial collateral ligament in his left knee in Thursday's loss to Colorado and will be out for the remainder of the season, according to associate head coach Bob Cantu.



Dedmon, a sophomore playing his first season of major-college basketball, tore the ligament four minutes into the first half and sat out the rest of the game in the locker room and sideline.
