Ailing Ted Lilly misses start

PEORIA, Ariz. -- Manager Don Mattingly said the Los Angeles Dodgers are in wait-and-see mode on veteran left-hander Ted Lilly, whose first regular-season start is in jeopardy after he missed Tuesday's start because of a stiff neck.

Lilly's regular side session Thursday also is questionable, all of which would throw off his schedule leading up to what was expected to be his 2012 season debut April 7 at San Diego.
