Dodgers turn triple play

LOS ANGELES -- The Los Angeles Dodgers turned a triple play in the ninth inning of their 5-4 win against the San Diego Padres.

The bizarre play, which was the Dodgers' first triple play since June 13, 1998, against Colorado at Dodger Stadium, came with the score tied 4-all Sunday.

Chris Denorfia led off with a single against Javy Guerra and Headley walked. Jesus Guzman squared to bunt, but the pitch came high and tight and hit his bat as he backed away.
