Howie Kendrick leaves with knee pain

ANAHEIM, Calif. -- Los Angeles Angels second baseman Howie Kendrick left Thursday night's 5-2 win over the Boston Red Sox with a knee injury in the third inning.

Angels manager Mike Scioscia said Kendrick is considered day-to-day and will travel with the team to Seattle for the start of a critical three-game series.
