Dodgers bring back Bobby Abreu

LOS ANGELES -- The Los Angeles Dodgers called up outfielder Bobby Abreu from Triple-A Albuquerque, the team announced Sunday.

The Dodgers got creative in opening up a 40-man roster spot for Abreu. They called up right-handed pitcher Chris Withrow from Double-A Chattanooga before placing him on the 60-day disabled list.
