Metta World Peace dislocates finger

LOS ANGELES -- Los Angeles Lakers forward Metta World Peace suffered a dislocated middle finger on his right hand in the fourth quarter of the Lakers' 99-92 preseason loss to the Sacramento Kings on Sunday.

The injury occurred when World Peace came from the weak side to strip the ball away from the Kings' DeMarcus Cousins as he prepared to go up with it on the baseline, just one possession after World Peace hit a 3-pointer to put L.A. up by one with 2:57 remaining. He played through ...
