Lakers waive Chris Douglas-Roberts

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. -- The Los Angeles Lakers waived forward Chris Douglas-Roberts and center Greg Somogyi, the team announced Monday.

Douglas-Roberts played in four preseason games for the Lakers, averaging 4.0 points and 0.8 rebounds in 8.3 minutes per game. The three-year NBA veteran developed a fast rapport with Kobe Bryant as the 6-7, 210-pound Douglas-Roberts was matched up with the 6-6, 205-pound Bryant in practice.
