Man sentenced in Kramer case

LOS ANGELES -- A 19-year-old man has pleaded no contest to involuntary manslaughter stemming from the heroin-overdose death of the 18-year-old son of former NFL quarterback Erik Kramer.

David Michael Nernberg was immediately sentenced Thursday to five years of probation and 90 days of community service

Kramer's son, Griffen, a quarterback at Thousand Oaks High School, died Oct. 31, 2011.
