A.J. Ellis gets $2 million deal

The Los Angeles Dodgers reached one-year contract agreements with their only two arbitration-eligible players Friday, avoiding a potentially acrimonious process that could have dragged into spring training.

Catcher A.J. Ellis will make $2 million next season, and reliever Ronald Belisario will earn $1.45 million. Both players were eligible for arbitration for the first time.
