Injuries just too much for Lakers

A Game 2 loss to the Spurs magnified what has been a season theme for L.A.

SAN ANTONIO -- The scoreboard was technically 0-0 when Game 2 between the Los Angeles Lakers and San Antonio Spurs tipped off Wednesday, but a quick glance at the injury report on the front page of the game notes had the Spurs going into the night with an 8-1 lead.
