Clayton Kershaw to start Friday

LOS ANGELES -- Clayton Kershaw, on the bereavement list after the death of his father, has informed the Los Angeles Dodgers that he plans to make his scheduled start Friday night in San Francisco.

"Clayton is a 'go' for San Francisco right now," manager Don Mattingly said. "We're pretty sure of that."

Kershaw left the Dodgers clubhouse immediately after pitching eight shutout innings in a 2-0 win over the Milwaukee Brewers on Sunday and was put on the bereavement list ...
