Pe'Shon Howard to play this year

Transfer Pe'Shon Howard, who started 24 games at point guard for Maryland last season, has received a waiver from the NCAA and will be able to play this season for new USC coach Andy Enfield.

The 6-foot-3 Howard is a California native who played the last three seasons for the Terps.
