Hanley Ramirez in Game 6 lineup

ST. LOUIS -- Los Angeles Dodgers shortstop Hanley Ramirez, dealing with a painful hairline fracture in his ribs, was a last-minute addition to Friday night's lineup in Game 6 of the National League Championship Series.

Ramirez went hitless in three at-bats as the Cardinals routed the Dodgers 9-0 to reach the World Series.

Dodgers manager Don Mattingly had said Thursday that he expected Ramirez to play, but Nick Punto was in the team's original lineup, playing shortstop and batting ...
