Jonathan Quick sent back to L.A.

Los Angeles Kings goalie Jonathan Quick has left the team's road trip after suffering a "hamstring or groin-related" injury late in the team's 3-2 shootout loss to the Buffalo Sabres on Tuesday.

"Our trainer thinks it's either hamstring or groin-related. So it's a muscle," Kings coach Darryl Sutter said Wednesday. "He's obviously not going to play on this trip, so he might as well be home, and make sure we know what it is, and then go from there."
