Tailgaters unite!
PHILADELPHIA -- Tailgate. Game. Tailgate.

It's the standard Sunday itinerary at any NFL stadium.

With tailgate done and game all but over (Eagles 44, Cowboys 13 -- 5 minutes left), it's time for more tailgating.

A boisterous sea of green rolls down the Veterans Stadium exit ramps. You'd think there was a giveaway at the home opener -- all fans aged 237 and under receive sunburns, bloodshot eyes, and laryngitis.

Out in the parking lot, five burly men serenade the cooler that sits in their trusty black Jeep with the Philly fight song. "Fly Eagles fly ... E-A-G-L-E-S!" They all wear jerseys. Except for Jim.

"It's tough to find one that fits when you're 6'5" and 400 pounds," he explains. His gang downed a 7 a.m. breakfast of wings and hoagies up in Wilkes-Barre, PA before making the 2-hour pilgrimage to Donovan-ville.

Once here, they roared with delight (along with 65,000 of their closest friends) as McNabb passed for 3 TD's and ran for another against the 'Boys overmatched D.

Despite the on-field shellacking, things have been relatively tame in the stands today. "We didn't see any Dallas fans get beat up," says Jim's son Chris. Almost on cue, a gaggle of Cowboy fans passes by and a feisty dialogue ensues, but the two posses exchange nothing more than words.

The Dallas contingent piles into a van and speeds away. The Philly faithful, including the Wilkes-Barre Five, aren't even close to leaving, according to Chris.

"We don't move until the beer's gone."
