Hoosiers headed in right direction

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- A postscript on Wednesday night's Duke-Indiana game:

Indiana coach Mike Davis was just as upbeat about his Hoosiers at around 1:30 a.m. when he walked out of Assembly Hall as he was 90 minutes earlier when he talked to the media.

Davis truly believes he has a team that will compete for the Big Ten title and beyond once he gets Big Ten freshman of the year D.J. White back from a broken foot.
