Should Boone stay in draft?
If he stays, then he takes a gamble that he will slip into the second round. If he withdraws, then he goes back to Connecticut and deals with the little issue of going through the NCAA process of ensuring eligibility (like every player who is going out to individual team workouts).
According to a number of sources, Boone's workouts so far in Chicago (for scouts), New Jersey, New York and Indiana haven't locked him in the first round. Boone, the 6-11 junior and one-time Big East defensive player of the year after his sophomore year, still hasn't signed with an agent.
