Miller, Xavier still smarting

March, 22, 2007
Four days after the heartbreaking overtime loss to Ohio State, Xavier head coach Sean Miller still is sick about the way the game ended.

Miller said Wednesday that he's really having a hard time with the loss, considering No. 9 seed Xavier was a few seconds away from the biggest upset of the tournament. Then Ron Lewis made a last-second 3-pointer to tie the game and send it into overtime, where top-seeded Ohio State won 78-71.

"It's hard," Miller said. "I hope Ohio State wins the national championship. The one thing about losing in the NCAA Tournament is that it's such an awkward feeling. You're done. It just hits you and you feel it for a long time."
