Binghamton faces drama, lures risky transfers

The bad publicity for Binghamton's men's basketball continues with each story detailing Serbia's refusal to extradite former Bearcats player Miladin Kovacevic for the beating of a student on campus in early May that left him hospitalized.
Shortly after the beating, Kovacevic was arrested and charged with felony assault on Binghamton student Bryan Steinhauer at a local bar. Since then, Kovacevic posted bail and fled the country. He is now in his home country of Serbia.
