- Arkansas head coach John Pelphrey announced the final piece to his 2011 recruiting class on Friday when Rashad "Ky" Madden signed his national letter of intent.
"All great teams have great leadership at the point guard position," Pelphrey said. "Ky is a tremendous competitor who has been able to lead his team to win at every level. A long time ago I developed a great affection for Ky's understanding of the game, his ability to read defenses and his understanding of game management. He has a great basketball mind, beyond his years and because of his tremendous size at that position, that in itself is a unique weapon."
Madden joins fellow ESPNU 100 prospects B.J. Young, Hunter Mickelson and Aaron Ross along with Devonte Abron in a class ranked No. 4 on ESPN.com.

- ESPNU 100 guard Ky Madden has changed his mind and will sign his national letter of intent on Friday (Nov. 12) at his high school he tells ESPN.com's Dave Telep.
Madden had indicated earlier he would wait until the late signing period to make it official.
"I wasn't going to sign until April," he said. "I wanted to do it and make sure that everything was straight and the coaches were going to be there and the players would have a good year. I was just being safe.
"I talked to my dad and told them that I'm going to sign on Friday."
